The Most Festive Garden Centre

Saturday, 29 December 2018

To all of those reading, I truly hope that each one of you had the best Christmas that you have ever had. Whether it had been a quiet or busy one, chilled or manic one. Whatever you ended up getting up too, I hope it brought you the most happiness, and delight! Enjoy 2019 and thank-you so much for as much as taking the time to read my rambles this past year, it means a lot. Can't wait to see what the New Year brings (all good things I hope). All the best.
Whilst I still can, I thought to share with you the most Christmassy and festive garden centres I have ever visited.
If any of you are still here from last year, I did a 12 days of Christmas on my blog. One of the posts featured things to do around Christmas time.. One place that I recommended all Christmas lovers do, was to visit a garden centre, whether it was near or far. A large majority of garden centres do have lovely decorations and displays put up around the festive period, but Whitehall Garden Centre, near Lacock, was something else! If you're a Christmas lover you must make a visit! You will most definitely not be disappointed.

There were an abundance of beautiful decorated displays, and colour themed decoration walls/rooms (this made shopping for specific coloured items and decorations, the easiest. And it is just so pleasing to the eye haha). There were reems and reems of garlands, wreaths, bunting, signs, baubles, tinsel, stars for the top of the tree, wall hangings - you name it, it was there. They even had nativity animals that you could go and see. There were donkeys, rams and reindeers! It was like a proper day out, but  at a garden centre! All jokes aside!
We also spent lunch there and had a little afternoon tea in one of the tea rooms. The scones were lovely! The visit to the garden centre was definitely one of the ways that makes me feel most festive. And if like me, you're sad that the festivities are all coming to an end, quickly make a last minute visit before all of the decorations get taken down! Things may even be discounted - it's a win win.

What do you love to do around Christmas time?
