The Autumnal Candle Stash

Saturday 19 October 2019

No better time of the year to start burning those cosy and fresh scents. Not going to lie, I was still burning Christmas candles through the Spring, but who cares. I love to burn a candle as soon as it starts to get dark outside. There is just something so cosy about it. These are the 3 that have been my candles of choice as soon as Autumn came around.

This one was gifted to me for my birthday last year and I believe it is from the Yankee Candle festive range. It has lasted an amazing length of time considering how long I burn it for at a time. I has a very fresh, and subtle scent. Yankee Candle themselves have described it as "build winter memories around a warm cedar wood fire kindled with sweet whispers of nutmeg and warm amber". With notes of nutmeg, myrrh, cinnamon, vanilla, amber, sandalwood and cedarwood, it definitely is for someone who loves warmth and a touch of spice. It fills the whole room, even when it isn't burning. It's delightful.

This one was a TKMaxx bargain. There are so many amazing autumnal candle choices in TKMaxx! This one was the one I decided to come home with me, although it was so hard to pick only one. The lid is the cutest thing - look at those leaves?! At only £12.99 for a 3 wick candle, it would have been silly not too really. Although I can't find what notes this has, it's not anything to over bearing. Light and fresh, with a hint of crisp apple.

Sam kindly brought this for me last year and I have been obsessed with it ever since. I believe it is from Amazon, although, I'm sure that you can find some of these on ebay. It's just autumn in a candle. That is the best way of describing it! It has notes of crisp red apple, golden nectar and warm clove spice. Delicious! I'm so sad that it is nearly all burnt out.

What is your favourite Autumnal candle?

  1. I used to hate candles but ever since I've got my own place all I seem to do is buy candles, my favourite one so far is Yankee Candle, Cinnamon Stick perfect for this time of year too.
